RIFF Int'l Film Awards introduces judges

The 15th annual Resistance International Film Festival has introduced the judges for its International Film Awards.

The 15th annual Resistance International Film Festival has announced the names of five cinematic figures from Iran, Australia, Bangladesh, and the US that will be making up the festival's International Film Award's judging committee.

The judging committee will consist of: Majid Majidi and Ahmad Reza Darvish from Iran, Martin Mhando from Australia, Ghulam Rabbani Biplob from Bangladesh, and Rodrigo Vila from the US.

The committee will be judging 12 films selected for the International awards.

The 15th annual Resistance International Film Festival seeks to establish an atmosphere of discourse through the recognition of filmmakers and activists. The event also aims to promote common human ethos of peace, brotherhood, and the resistance of oppression, all while fighting violence and terrorism through the universal language of films.

The festival is set to be held on November 26-December 1, 2018, at Felestin Theater Hall in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
